1. Terms of Service

1.1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AskProf ("the Service"), operated by Alvaro Partners, LLC ("the Company", "we", "us"), a Wyoming limited liability company, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.2 Description of Service

AskProf is an educational platform that uses artificial intelligence agents to analyze publicly available market data and generate educational commentary about macroeconomic conditions, sector trends, and portfolio analysis. The Service is designed to help users learn about financial markets and is not intended to provide investment advice.

1.3 Educational Nature of the Service

All content generated by AskProf, including but not limited to market regime calls, alignment scores, agent analysis, portfolio commentary, sector rotation signals, and any other output, is strictly for educational and informational purposes. None of this content constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or financial instrument.

1.4 Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

1.5 Subscription and Billing

AskProf offers a paid subscription at $9.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial for new users. After the trial period, your payment method will be charged automatically each billing cycle. All payments are processed through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

1.6 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit any content from the Service without written permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Share your account credentials with others or allow others to use your account

1.7 Intellectual Property

All content, branding, analysis output, software, and technology associated with AskProf are the property of Alvaro Partners, LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal educational purposes only.

1.8 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

1.9 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alvaro Partners, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to financial losses, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of investment value, arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

You acknowledge that the AI-generated analysis may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information, and you assume all risk associated with reliance on such content.

1.10 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming.

1.11 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Privacy Policy

2.1 Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

• Account information: Email address, display name, and password (hashed)
• Profile information: Experience level, investment style preferences, and focus areas (provided during onboarding)
• Portfolio data: Ticker symbols, quantities, and values that you voluntarily upload for educational analysis
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns
• Payment information: Processed and stored securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.

2.2 How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Service, including generating personalized educational analysis
• Process payments through Stripe
• Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets)
• Improve the Service and user experience
• Comply with legal obligations

2.3 Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform:

• Supabase: Database hosting and authentication
• Stripe: Payment processing
• Resend: Transactional email delivery

These providers process data solely on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect your information.

2.4 Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), hashed passwords, and secure infrastructure. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

2.5 Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

2.6 Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your portfolio data

3. Refund Policy

All subscription payments are non-refundable. AskProf offers a 7-day free trial so you can evaluate the Service before committing to a paid subscription.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service through the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds or credits will be issued for unused portions of a billing period.

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at support@askprof.io within 7 days of the charge and we will review your case.

4. Disclaimer

4.1 Not Financial Advice

AskProf is an educational tool. The content generated by AskProf, including market analysis, portfolio alignment scores, regime classifications, sector signals, and any other output from our AI agents, does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice.

4.2 No Fiduciary Relationship

Use of AskProf does not create a fiduciary relationship, an advisory relationship, or any professional-client relationship between you and Alvaro Partners, LLC. We are not registered as a broker-dealer, investment advisor, or in any other capacity with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), or any state securities regulatory authority.

4.3 AI-Generated Content

All analysis on AskProf is generated by artificial intelligence models. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. The AI agents process publicly available market data and produce educational commentary based on patterns in that data. They do not have access to non-public information and cannot predict future market movements.

4.4 Investment Risk

All investing involves risk, including the possible loss of all amounts invested. Past performance of any analysis, signal, or strategy discussed on AskProf does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions.

4.5 No Guarantee of Accuracy

While we strive to provide high-quality educational content, we make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any information provided through the Service. Market data may be delayed or contain errors.
